Further to the Company’s announcement on 23 May 2003 in relation to the proposed renewal of shareholders’ mandate, Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad, on behalf of the Company, wishes to announce that the Company proposes to seek shareholders’ mandate for new recurrent related party transactions (RRPT) at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company.

The Proposed New Shareholders’ Mandate, if approved, will take effect from the date of passing of the resolution at the EGM until the next Annual General Meeting in 2004.

A Circular to Shareholders setting out the details of the Proposed New Shareholders’ Mandate and the resolution pertaining thereto will be despatched to the shareholders of the Company in due course and within the prescribed time pursuant to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Listing Requirements.
