On behalf of Kia Lim, AmMerchant Bank Berhad (A member of AmInvestment Group) is pleased to announce that based on the subscription received at the closing of the Rights Issue with Warrants at 5.00 p.m on 23 January 2006 (“Closing Date”), the subscription rates are as detailed in Table 1 below.

The subscription rates achieved, as shown in Table 1, has surpassed the minimum subscription level as detailed in the Abridged Prospectus of Kia Lim dated 23 December 2005.

The despatch of the notice of allotment to successful applicants will be carried out within 15 market days after the Closing Date.
