We refer to our announcement dated 17 August 2005.

AmMerchant Bank Berhad (“AmMerchant Bank”), on behalf of the Board of Directors of Kia Lim, wishes to announce that the Securities Commission (“SC”) had, vide their letter dated 14 February 2006 (received on 15 February 2006) approved the Company’s application for an extension of time of three (3) months from 16 February 2006 to 15 May 2006, to complete the abovementioned Corporate Exercises. Nonetheless, the Rights Issue with Warrants has been completed with the Rights Shares and Warrants being granted listing and quotation on 15 February 2006.
