The Board of Directors of Kia Lim Berhad (hereinafter referred to as "Kia Lim or the Company") wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek shareholders' approval for Proposed Amendments to the Articles of Association of the Company.
In compliance with Paragraph 10.09 of the Listing Requirements for the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Kia Lim will seek its shareholders' approval on the Proposal at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company, which is scheduled to be held on 25 May 2006.
A circular to shareholders containing information on the Proposal will be despatched to the shareholders of Kia Lim in due course.
